A Sunday team helped Morag receive his Dragonwrath legendary staff which only took *cough* *cough* hours of raiding to accomplish! Congrats, Morag!! See more screenshots of the team and staff after the cut.

Team Hotpants? Saucy pants? Kickass pants? defeated Deathwing last night for Descendants to make us 8/8 in normal 10-man Dragon Soul!
When asked in guild chat how they did it, they said the secret was (and you may want to write this down): raiders shouldn't die. That's confidential, Descendants-protected advice.
Congrats and here's to the rest of us earning our Destroyer's End titles!

2011 seemed to be the year of the roster nerf, courtesy of Real Life and Star Wars, but let’s take a moment to reflect for the 8 of us who were here…
We began the year in Bastion of Twilight and Blackwing Descent, where Ascendant Council, then Cho’gall, denied Weg loot. Coreva began the expansion as Ramorrah, the warrior, where we continued to call him “Cor” – just to confuse anyone new in vent.
Pharse began the quest “Moar Blankets” and shipped off to Afghanistan to level his crocheting skill (we assume).
We (read: Etoofnoj and Paladerf) sacrificed hours of time fishing to get us a feast recipe and Ascendants guildies joined ours to fill in raid gaps. Descendants created “Healer Chat” and Mogarth still wonders why he’s not the only one in it. /flex
Bilson wrote our first: who are we, where are we going forum post, to which we replied: who’s Bilson?
Catalist and Vipi were tagged Descendents while Ramorrah and Quoi went on hiatus (at least one of them to sing karaoke). McCullock rolled out his Hebrewmelvin warrior – which someone, somewhere, later finds offensive (we’re guessing Italianmario, but the jury’s still out) and we’re then stuck with Herkuleez.
Bils began and Ilsea killed our Battlestar Galactica forum game – frakkin’ Cylon.
Lithale returned as paly tank Saryn shortly before leaving again for a “job.” Uiena failed to sufficiently cast Thorns to our tanks’ liking. Etoof earned his Salty title to which Catalist replied with: eat my achievement dust and purchased a gazillion pets and tabards.
Pharse completed the quest “Out of Afghanistan" and returned while Xanik took a break. Vathe turned 18 (sexual innuendo jokes are now not quite as creepy) then graduated high school and took an epic road trip up the west coast.

As we begin another holiday shopping season, I wanted to take a few minutes out give thanks for my friends, who spend week after week complaining about my healing, asking for assist in raids, listening to me whine when four out of twenty-five zone in during a mass-rez, and all around being pains in my ass. I love you guys.
Hi folks,
A quick overview of the activities happening this week, and some housekeeping items that I'd like to take care of early-on.
Based on conversation on this thread, we discussed what classes we're relatively heavy in and what classes we're a bit soft in:

Ninja-edit:

Alysrazor down! All it took is a solid week of attendance and we've shot up eight places in rank, sitting firmly at 14th place on Bael'gun. Excellent work!
Ok, back to the original post. *cough*...*adjusts tie*...*taps papers and looks into the camera*
Here's an overall look at how Descendants is faring. Most of this should come as no surprise, but it's good to recognize what we need to work on changing to be more successful.

We haven't had a main page update in a bit. My time has been compressed - my apologies! Hopefully things will settle down a bit in the fall.

Bask in the glory that is New Content! Firelands is upon us! If you haven't read up on it by now, here's some good resources to get you caught up to speed for raid day (WEDNESDAY, not Tuesday this week):
Wowhead.com has a fantastic breakdown of ALL that is patch 4.2, not just the raid content. Get details here:

Hello everyone!!
Bigbertha and I are pleased to announce Descendants Summerfest 2011 at our home in the Chicago suburbs over Labor Day weekend, and all of you are invited!
The annual SummerFest is a great opportunity to meet the people you play alongside day after day, eat some delicious feasts that haven’t been sat in and contain zero bear hair, relax with friends and chat Warcraft during the end of long summer days with cold beer by a crackling firepit.
